Co-Pastor Britnee Linton

Britnee Linton was born and raised at Brownsville Church of the Brethren in Washington County. She grew up singing those beloved church hymns, attending Sunday School, and going to youth group. After six years of undergrad, Britnee ventured from education classes to social work classes, graduating from Shepherd University with a bachelor’s in social work. When she graduated in 2010, she accepted a position at Shepherd’s Spring Outdoor Ministry Center as camp coordinator. After a year, she discerned a call to ministry and started attending Bethany Theological Seminary in 2011, graduating in 2015 with a Master of Divinity, emphasis in Youth and Young Adult Ministry. From there she worked at Frederick Church of the Brethren part time for eight months until accepting a position at Shepherd’s Spring as the Program and Development Director. After two years, Britnee left the position to transition to be a stay-at-home mom while her husband, Scott, finished seminary. During that time, the spirit was moving, and she accepted the call as co-pastor at Union Bridge Church of the Brethren. Britnee is passionate about the outdoors, especially in secluded areas. She loves to sit in a spot where all she can hear is God’s creation all around her. She loves spending time with her family, taking pictures, and hiking. She is a dedicated Redskins fan but will cheer on the Ravens with her husband.
